Luisana Lopilato is an Argentine actress, model, and singer born in Buenos Aires, Argentina on May 18, 1987. She is best known for appearing in the television shows Chiquititas, Alma Pirata, Rebelde Way Atraccion x4, and Casados con Hijos. Lopilato worked as a child model and in 1995 made her debut on television in the show Mi familia es un dibujo. She continued landing roles in the shows Rebelde Way, Los Pensionados, Alma Pirata, El Capo, Los Secretos de Papá, Numeral 15: Teléfono descompuesto, RÍO, Lobo, Una buona stagione and others. She made her debut in theater in 1999 in a production of Chiquititas and has also had roles in the productions Arlequin and La Cenicienta. In 2001 she made her debut in film in the movie Un Amor en Moises Ville and has since had roles in the films Erreway: 4 Caminos, Plumiferos, Las Insoladas, Fair Market Value, Perdida, Los que aman, odian and more. Lopilato was also part of the pop group Erreway that was formed from the television show Rebelde way in 2002. The group released three studio albums and sold over 1 million records worldwide and has several platinum and gold album certifications in Argentina. Throughout her career she has been nominated for a number of awards and has won two Martin Fierro Awards, a Cilsa Award and others.
