Luke Wilson Bio
Luke Wilson is a prolific American actor born on September 21, 1971 in Dallas, Texas, USA, as Luke Cunningham Wilson. In 1993, after attending university, Luke participated as an actor in the 13-minute short film “Bottle Rocket”, written by his brother Owen and directed by Wes Anderson. The short film was awarded at the Sundance Festival, and James L. Brooks produced it as a feature film with the same title, “Bottle Rocket” in 1996, which boosted Luke's career. He worked with actress Drew Barrymore in films such as “Best Men” by Tamra Davis in 1997, “Home Fries” by Dean Parisot in 1998, “Charlie Angels” in 2000 and its sequel in 2003. He also appeared in a couple of Wes Anderson films, like “The Royal Tenenbaums” in 2001 and “Rushmore” in 1998, co-written by Anderson and Owen Wilson. In 2019, he appeared in the cast of Part Three of the American post-apocalyptic comedy trilogy Zombieland, “Zombieland: Double Tap” in 2019.
