Lungi Ngidi Bio
Lungisani True-man Ngidi, widely known as Lungi Ngidi, is a professional cricketer born in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, on March 29, 1996. He began playing cricket at age 13, representing the Kwa-Zulu Natal U19 team in provincial cricket. He made his debut in South Africa's domestic circuit in 2015 for Northerns. Lungi was in the Northerns 2015 T20 squad for Africa T20 Cup.
He won the Africa T20 Cup Player of the Year in 2016. In 2017, he won the Man of the Match on his debut Twenty20 against Sri Lanka. In 2018, Lungi won the Man of the Match on his Test debut against India. He was South Africa's 2020 ODI and T20I Cricketer of the Year.
Titans bought him for the 2015/2016 season. He joined Indian Super League giants Chennai Super Kings in January 2018. Lungi has capped 334 Test, 126 ODI, and 67 T20I matches. He has a verified Instagram account with over 203,000 followers.
