Eric Luttrell, popularly known as Luttrell, is an electronic dance music DJ and producer from San Francisco, California, USA. He formed The M Machine with Ben Swardlick and Andy Coenen. The indie dance group released music with OWSLA and performed at major festivals like Electric Daisy Carnival, Ultra Music Festival, and Tomorrowland. However, after seven years, they disbanded. Luttrell was inspired by a chance solo performance at Burning Man.
His unique brand of melodic techno has gotten him the attention of BBC Radio 1. It earned him remix requests from renowned acts like Moby, What So Not, and Tycho. His works have been supported by Pete Tong, Kolsch, Joris Voorn, Lane 8, and so on. His music is influenced by The Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, and The Prodigy.
Luttrell is a member of the Anjunadeep touring family and has performed at major venues, including Bill Graham in San Francisco and Printworks in London. In 2018, he played Holy Ship, the DoLab at Coachella, and Tomorrowland. He supported Above & Beyond, Rüfüs Du Sol, and Lane 8 on their US tours. Before releasing his debut album, Into Clouds, in 2019, he released his debut EP, Need You.
