Christian Benson, popularly known as Luude, is an electronic dance music producer born in Tasmania, Australia. He is associated with Sweat It Out and Warner Music Australia. He is best known for his 2021 cover of Down Under featuring Colin Hay. The cover was certified gold by ARIA and BPI. It made the top ten in Australia and the UK and was number one in New Zealand.
Luude released his first single, Coco Butter with Twerl, in December 2015. He came into the limelight in 2017 with a series of remixes and original tracks that garnered millions of streams. He is one of the Australian duo, Choomba. The duo has been endorsed by The Magician, Claude Von Stroke, Richie Hawtin, Claptone, Riva Starr, and Erick Morillo. They host their own dance music radio show on Triple J.
Luude has sold out shows across Australia and New Zealand and has performed at festival sets on the country's biggest stages. He released his EP 6AM on September 3, 2021. He has collaborated with Mattafix, Dear Sunday, Lost Boy, Fabian Mazur, Example, and Georgi Kay.
