Lyndsy Fonseca is an American actress. She was born Lyndsy Marie Fonseca on the 7th of January, 1987, in Oakland, California, U.S. She began her career in 2001, appearing on the CBS’s daytime soap opera “The Young and the Restless”. In 2005 she portrayed Ted Mosby’s daughter on the popular comedy series “How I met Your Mother”. In the same year, she acted on HBO’s television drama “Big Love”. She starred in the television film “Ordinary Miracles” in 2005. Two years later, she acted in the teenage drama movie “Remember the Daze”. She also joined the cast of the popular television series “Desperate Housewives” acting as Katherine Mayfair’s daughter, and in 2008 the whole cast was nominated for the Actor Award at the Screen Actors Guild Awards for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series. She landed a lead role in the action movie “Kick-Ass”, for which she was nominated at the Scream Awards in the category Breakout Performance – Female. From 2010 to 2013, she starred in the thriller drama television series “Nikita”, as Alex Udinov, for which she got nominated 3 consecutive years at the Teen Choice Awards in the category Choice TV Actress: Action.
