Maan de Steenwinkel, also known simply as Maan, is a Dutch singer and songwriter born in 1997 in Bergen, North-Holland. After taking some music lessons in high school, she joined the band Fortuned and played local festivals. In 2017 she became the winner of the talent reality show “The Voice of Holland,” and became famous in her home country, making appearances in many talk shows like “RTL Late Night” and “Pauw.” Maan then moved to Amsterdam and released the single “Perfect World” shortly after, reaching Holland’s Top 40. In 2018 she won the 100% NL award as a breakthrough artist, and made appearances in other Dutch talent TV shows like “De Beste Zangers” and “Dance Dance Dance.” In 2020 she released the full-length album “Onverstaanbaar.”
