Mac DeMarco Bio
Coming from Duncan, British Columbia, Canada, McBriare Samuel Lanyan DeMarco or legally known as Vernor Winfield McBriare Smith IV was born on April 30, 1990. He emerged with the moniker Makeout Videotape. Then in 2008, he moved to Edmonton and self-released “Heat Wave.” He was soon joined by Alex Calder and Jen Clement being recognized as a band.
They signed under Unfamiliar Records and played alongside Japandroids in 2009. Then by 2012, DeMarco released his EP “Rock and Roll Night Club” under Captured Tracks label. His sophomore album “Salad Days” appeared in 2014. The mini-LP “Another One” came in 2015.
