Madeon is the stage name of Hugo Pierre Leclercq, a Los Angeles-based French singer, songwriter, electronic music producer and DJ, native from Nantes, France. He started gaining attention when he released through his YouTube channel “Pop Culture”, a mash-up of popular songs using a Novation Launchpad. Three years later, he released his studio album “Adventure” before hitting the road on a North American tour. In 2017, he was ranked at number 105 on DJ Mag’s top 200 DJs in the world. During the same year, Leclercq was also nominated for Single of the Year and Live Act of the Year alongside Porter Robinson at the Electronic Music Awards. He has recorded two songs that made it to Billboard’s 200 Albums Charts, “Adventure” and “Good Faith”.
