Born on 17th February 1995 in Rock Island, Illinois, Madison Keys is an American Tennis Player known for her powerful forehand and fast serves. She developed an interest in tennis after watching Wimbledon on TV when she was four. She started playing and training at the Quad-City Tennis Club in Moline. In her junior career, she won the 12-and-under Junior Orange Bowl and competed at ITF events. She became a pro at 14 and made her WTA debut in 2009 at the Ponte Vedra Beach Championships. She became the seventh youngest player to win a WTA tour-level match since 1994. The most noted game was her victory against the then World No.2 player, Serena Williams, at the World Tennis exhibition. In 2016, she reached the top ten WTA rankings and became the first American woman since Serena Williams to achieve the milestone. Keys has won six WTA tournaments and a Cincinnati Open Trophy, finishing at the World No.7 ranking in 2022.
