Madison McFerrin is a singer, songwriter, and producer born in 1992 in San Francisco, California, USA. Her music mixes Acappella, electronic pop, jazz, and soul. She issued two Acappella-based EPs in 2016, Finding Foundations, Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, before releasing the EP You + I in 2019, produced with Taylor McFerrin. She was inspired by the Beatles, Erykah Badu, Bob Dylan, Stevie Wonder, James Brown, and Nina Simone.
Madison attended Boston's Berklee College of Music, where she honed her songwriting skills. She formed the funk band Cosmodrome, during which she played in bars and clubs. She played in the electronic duo Binary Soul and toured alongside Bobby McFerrin.
The Brooklyn-based musician has toured London, Paris, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Berlin, and Hamburg. She has over 400,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. She was praised as a Pitchfork Rising Artist and made her debut at SXSW. The COLORS debut of the single TRY has racked up over 1 million views. She debuted her first attempt at beat-making with the We'll Be Okay Beatpack.
