Maggie Rose, born as Maggie Rose Durante, is a popular American country singer. She was born on May 19, 1988, in Potomac, Maryland, where she started her career at the age of sixteen. Maggie Rose first started performing together with a Bruce Springsteen tribute band called T B Street Band. In 2009, she signed her first contract with the Universal Republic and released a cover of Kings of Leon’s Use Somebody under the stage name of Margaret Rose. A year later she left Universal Records and signed to independent Emrose Records for which she charted two singles and a digital EP. Maggie Rose has recorded songs that were featured on the Disney Channel’s television series Shake It Up and their soundtrack album called Shake It Up: Break It Down as well as the film Good Luck Charlie. She changed her name in Maggie Rose in 2012 when she released her first single called I Ain’t Your Mama.
