Magic! Bio
Magic! is a reggae fusion band based out of Toronto, Canada. The group is made up of Nasri Atweh, born on January 10th, 1981 in Toronto, Canada, Mark Pellizzer born on June 14th, 1980 in Toronto, Canada, Ben Spivak born on January 4th, 1983 in Toronto, Canada, and Alex Tanas, born on February 28th, 1986 in Toronto, Canada. Prior to forming the band, Nasir has worked with many different pop groups. He wrote the song “Don’t Judge Me” for Chris Brown.
Magic! Released their debut single called “Rude” in 2013 which peaked at number 6 on the Canadian Hot 100. The group’s second single, “Don’t Kill the Magic” peaked at number 5. The band released their debut album Don’t Kill the Magic in 2014. The album peaked at number 5 on the Canadian Album Chart and number 6 on the Billboard 200. In 2016 Magic released their second album called Primary Colours.
