Maiday, born Rachel Moulden in Worcestershire, England, is a British singer and songwriter that has written for many familiar artists. Maiday has worked with artists such as Leona Lewis, Wretch 32, Girls Aloud, and Josh Kumra. Her most successful written song was the song “Don’t Go” for the artist Wretch 32. The song was originally recorded as a demo by Maiday, but was given to Wretch 32 who retailored it to his own style. The single went on to peak at number 1 on the UK Indie, R&B, and Singles Charts in 2011. Maiday has also sung vocals on a number of songs. Her feature on the single “Fade” with Jakwob peaked at number 35 on the UK Top 40 chart. She was also featured on Josh Kruma’s song “White & Black.”
