Maisie Smith Bio
Maisie Louise Collender Smith is an English singer and actress born on 9 July 2001. She starred in the feature film The Other Boleyn Girl (2008) and was a regular on the BBC serial opera EastEnders from 2008 to 2014. Maisie Smith, when she was six, acted as Tiffany Dean in the BBC series EastEnders. She spent 18 months at the Singer Stage School in Leigh-on-Sea before appearing in The Other Boleyn Girl in 2008. Critics have compared her to Ellis Hollins, the award-winning young actor who played the role of Tom Cunningham in the Channel 4 serial drama Hollyoaks. Smith received Best Dramatic Performance by a Young Actor or Actress at the British Soap Awards in May 2009. Also, she was nominated for the same award in May 2010 but lost to Doctors actress Ami Metcalf. In addition, she was nominated for and won Best Young Actor at the Inside Soap Awards in 2010 and 2011.
