Mako Vunipola (born 14 January 1991) is an English rugby union player who currently plays for Saracens and the England national team as a loosehead prop. He was born in New Zealand to Tongan parents and obtained residency in England. Vunipola debuted for England in 2012 and has since earned 67 caps. In 2013, 2017, and 2021, he toured with the British & Irish Lions, earning nine caps. In 2018, he was named England Player of the Year.
