Malcolm Jenkins was born in Piscataway, New Jersey on December 20, 1987.
He played college football with the Ohio State Buckleys. The New Orleans Saints picked him in the first round of the 2009 draft. He has been with the team from 2009 to 2013. During his eighth season in 2016, he won the NFC Defensive Player of the Week award. In 2010, he launched The Malcolm Jenkins Foundation, the nonprofit charity.
He joined the Philadelphia Eagles in 2014. He received the Byron Whizzer White Award from the NFLPA in 2017. He joined two Super Bowl winning teams – New Orleans who won XLIV in 2009, and Philadelphia who bagged the Lii victory in 2017. He also earned two Pro Bowl honors during his time with the Eagles.
