The Spanish rock band Maldita Vecindad was established in Mexico City in the year 1985. Since then, the band has worked together with members of other bands and has contributed to a number of tribute albums, including those honouring José José and Tigres del Norte, among others. Their music is influenced by a wide variety of musical genres, including ska, rock, and traditional Mexican musical forms like the bolero. Roco, the band's vocalist, dresses in a manner that is reminiscent of the Pachuco, a stereotypical character that is portrayed by Tin Tán in Mexican films. Roco's attire is inspired by this character. Pachuco, the group's biggest hit to date, was released in 1991 and samples Tin Tan. They just released a brand new album called Circular Collectivo not too long ago.
