Maleek Berry Bio
Maleek Berry, whose real name is Maleek Shoyebi, is a British-Nigerian singer and record producer born in South London, UK on August 11, 1987. He became an in-house producer in 2013 for Wizkid’s Starry Entertainment and has worked with bigger artists including Wande Coal, Davido, Iyanya and many others. In 2016 he self produced the single “Kontrol” that received over a hundred thousand views in its first week on YouTube. Throughout his time in the industry he has released numerous singles such as, “The Matter”, “Feel Me”, “For My People”, “On Fire”, “Sisi Maria”, as well as producing tracks for many other artists, including “Carolina”, “For You”, “My Way”, “Amin”, “Baby Hello”, “Lowkey”, and countless others .Berry has been nominated for a Nigeria Entertainment Award for Music Producer of the Year in 2014 and two MOBO Awards in 2017 for Best Male Act and Best African Act.
