Born on September 24, 1975, in Elizabeth, New Jersey, Malinda Williams is an American actress and producer. She first appeared on the big screen in an episode of The Cosby Show. After that, Malinda Williams appeared as a guest in numerous television shows among which were My So-Called Life, Miami Vice, Roc, Sister, Sister, and many others. In 1996, she appeared in her first film called The Thin Line Between Love and Hate. The following year she appeared in High School High and Sunset Park. Malinda Williams is best known for her role on the Showtime’s television series called Soul Food for which she was nominated three times for the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series.
