June Shannon is a reality television celebrity and actress who was born in McIntyre, Georgia on the 10th of August 1979. She is better known by her stage name, Mama June. She became well-known thanks to the TLC show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, which she appeared on alongside her daughter Alana Thompson. She won bingo games and ate roadkill to stretch her weekly budget of $80 to provide for her large family. Before she had her own reality spin-off show, she appeared on Toddlers & Tiaras on TLC. This is the show where her daughter Alana gained her initial notoriety, so it was fitting that she also made an appearance there. In addition to that, she is famous for her roles in the films Dumb and Dumber To (2014), Swamp Mama (2012), and #THEDISH (2022).
