MAMAMOO Bio
MAMAMOO is a South Korean quartet that was formed on June 19th 2014 in Seoul, South Korean. The founding members of the ensemble include Kim Yong-sun aka Solar, Wheein Jung, Moon Byul-yi and Ahn Hye-jin aka Hwasa.
MAMAMOO debuted with the release of Hello which appeared in 2014. They rose to fame with the release of their full length effort Melting in 2016 which hit the Korean and US charts. They are also known for winning Bonsang in 2017 for their You’re the Best. They have also collaborated with artists like BumKey, K.Will and Geeks. Some of their other known albums include 4colors (2019), reality in BLACK (2019), Travel (2021), I SAY MAMAMOO: THE BEST (2021) AND WAW (2021).
