Indian actor, playwright, theatre director and filmmaker, Manav Kaul was born on 19th December 1976 in Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir. In 2003, he made his acting debut with the film, ‘Jajantaram Mamantaram,’ which was based on Gulliver’s Travels. His career in theatre started in 2004 with the theatre group, ‘Aranya.’ He has appeared in many plays like ‘Ilhaam,’ and ‘Shakkar Ke Paanch Daane.’ Among the films that he has appeared in are ‘Wazir,’ ‘I Am,’ ‘A Scandall,’ and ‘Phir Kabhi.’ He made his debut as a director with the 2012 film, ‘Hansa.’ For his incredible acting abilities, he has also earned two Filmfare Award Nominations for the films, ‘Tumhari Sulu,’ and ‘Saina.’ He was also nominated for a Screen Award for Best Actor in a negative role for the film, ‘CityLights.’ In 2017, he bagged the Most Stylish Personality Award by Hindustan Times.
