Mandy Takhar (born May 1, 1987 in Wolverhampton, West Midlands, England) is a British Punjabi actress and writer, most renowned for her roles in Rabb Da Radio (2017), Ekam: Son of Soil (2010), and Mirza: The Untold Story (2012).
Mandy moved to London with her family at the age of 17 to study drama at Kingston University. In 2009, she decided to make a career in acting and moved to Mumbai, India. She made her debut on the silver screen in 2010 with the Punjabi film "Ekam: Son of Soil", which earned her wide acclaim for her portrayal of the female lead opposite Punjabi actor and singer Babbu Mann.
Mandy's success continued with her role as Sahiba in the Punjabi film "Mirza: The Untold Story" for which she received a PTC Punjabi nomination for Best Actress. She went on to star in several other successful films including "Tu Mera 22 Main Tera 22", "Sardaarji", "Ardaas", "Sardar Mohammad", "Khido Khundi", and "Lukan Michi". Her performance in "Tu Mera 22 Main Tera 22" won her the Most Prominent and Popular Face and Youth Icon award at the 6th Punjabi Film and Music Festival.
