Manu Gavassi, also known as Manoela Latini Gavassi Francisco, is a Brazilian pop singer-songwriter born in Sao Paulo in 1993. She started her career by posting covers of Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift on YouTube in 2010. Shortly after, she started collaborating with producer Rick Bonadio and recorded a self-titled album and “Garoto Errado”, her first hit single. The latter reached more than 17 million views on YouTube and featured the talents of Colírios Capricho, Renan Grassi, Bruno Anacleto, and Mateus Emmerich. In 2012, Gavassi issued “Cliche Adolescente”, her sophomore full-length album, featuring a collaboration with Di Ferrero, from NX Zero. A year later she was named National Singer by Capricho Magazine. The young artist has also released 4 EPs, including “Vicio” (2015) and “Cute but Psycho” (2018), and has ventured into acting with appearances in the TV series “Em Familia” (2014) and “Z4” (2018).
