Mapy is a French violinist who was born on August 13, 1990, in Reúnion Island. She took up music when she was six years old when she started to learn the violin at the Conservatory in Paris, and even became the leader of the first violin section in the Symphony Orchestra and attended the school as the first chair for a decade. After graduating, she continued as a music teacher and, in 2013, she joined the Airplay Musical Group and was booked for events, such as Paris Fashion Week, Dior, and Prince de Galles, among others. In 2014, she decided to pursue a solo career as a Hip-Hop, Dancehall, and Soca violinist. She performed in prestigious concerts and played around the globe. In 2017, she released an album titled “Island Girl”, which contains seven-song covers such as “Shape of You” and “Despacito”. In 2018, she released two singles, “Dreams” and “Bermuda Triangle”.
