Marc Dupré (born July 28, 1973 in Quebec, Canada) is a Canadian singer, songwriter, and comedian most renowned as a guitarist that has toured and recorded with Celine Dion.
Dupré released his first album, Refaire le monde, in 2005. The album included the single, "Tout près du bonheur," recorded with Céline Dion. Dupré performed with Celion Dion at the first Gala Artis, held in Montreal on April 30, 2006. He also opened for Céline Dion in her "Taking Chances" tour in Montréal.
In 2008, he released his second album Revenir à toi. His fourth studio album, released in 2013, and titled Nous sommes les mêmes earned Dupré the Félix for "Best male artist of the year"during the "35e Gala L'ADISQ" on 27 October 2013. The title track was also a great success in Quebec and earned him the Félix for "Popular song of the year" during the same event.
In 2013, Dupré was one of the four judges in Louisiana Voix, the French Canadian version of The Voice. In December 2015, Marc Dupre received a gold record for 40,000 copies sold of his latest album, '' Là dans ma tête''. Besides singing, Dupre is also a comedian. He is known for imitating other voices and has had several comedy appearances at the Juste pour rire festival.
