Marc Lavoine (born August 6, 1962 in Longjumeau, Essonne, France) is an actor and composer, most renowned for his roles in the movies, Hell (1994), Le coeur des hommes (2003), and Crossing Lines (2013).
Lavoine released his first album, Le Parking des Anges, in 1985. His song "Elle a les yeux revolver" was a hit among teens. That track also marked a defining point in Lavoine’s career as it allowed him to reach the top of the French chart. In 1987, Lavoine released a second album titled, Fabriqué. Two years later, Lavoine released a third studio album titled, Les Amours Du Dimanche. In 1992, he released his fourth album, "Paris" and in 1993, released his fifth album titled, Faux Rêveur.
From 2001, Lavoine shifted his attention to the Cinema, appearing in notable films including The Good Thief (2002), Toute La Beauté Du Monde (2006), and Le Cœur Des Hommes 2 (2007). He continued as an actor for the next few years before marking his return to music in the early 2010s with an album titled Je Descends du Singe dropped in 2012. He dropped another album in 2018 titled Je reviens à toi.
