Marco Asensio is a Spanish professional football player who played for Real Madrid and the Spain national team as a winger and attacking midfielder. He was born as Marco Asensio Willemsen on January 21, 1996, in Palma de Majorca, Balearic Islands. Marco Asensio joined Mallorca in the season 2013-2014 and despite the fact that he was still a junior, he made his first competitive appearance in 2013. In 2014, he officially signed a contract with Real Madrid. Marco Asensio is famous for being the best midfielder for Real Madrid. He was also named the Golden Player of the tournament at the 2015 UEFA European U19 Championship and was rewarded with the silver boot in the 2017 UEFA European Under-21 Championship.
