Marcos Witt is a Texas Christian pastor who just so happens to have studied classical music at the University of Juarez in Durango, Mexico. Thus he’s considered an influential voice in Spanish-speaking, American Protestant Christianity. His family started a missionary outreach when he was a child, and he rounded out his education with the International Bible College in San Antonio, Texas, and a masters degree at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Marcos Witt has released over eighty studio albums spanning from years 1986- 2016. He is the winner of five Latin Grammy Awards consistently for “Best Christian Album,” and is also a four-time nominee of the Gospel Music Association’s Dove Awards. He is often compared to the Latin version of gospel musician Graham Kendrick.
