Marcus Lemonis, also known as Marcus Anthony Lemonis, is a Lebanese-born American entrepreneur, TV presenter, and philanthropist, head of the outdoors, and RV retailer Camping World. He was born in Beirut in 1973 and was adopted by a Miami couple. He worked for his grandparents’ car dealership in the late 1900s, and started dealing RV’s in 2001, holding executive positions. In 2006 he found himself as the head of Camping World after a series of mergers, and proceeded to raise the company’s profile through NASCAR sponsorships, being acclaimed by business magazines later on. Through his Project Good Samaritan, he and his corporation have impacted numerous goodwill causes. Lemonis started making TV appearances in NBC’s “Celebrity Apprentice” in 2011 and “Secret Millionaire” in 2012, making up challenges for the contestants. His big TV break came with 2013’s “The Profit”, hosting a reality show where he invests in people’s small businesses. In 2017 he also hosted this show’s spinoff “The Partner”.
