Mary Marg Helgenberger is an actress born November 16, 1958, in Fremont, Nebraska, USA. She earned a degree at Northwestern University. From 1982 to 1986, Marg starred as Siobhan Ryan Novak in Ryan's Hope. She portrayed Nancy Kettering in Spenser: For Hire and Natalie Thayer in Shell Game.
In 1990, Marg won Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series at the Primetime Emmy Awards and Best Supporting Actress in a Quality Drama Series at the Viewers for Quality Television Awards for her role in China Beach. She received critical acclaim for her roles In Sickness and in Health (1992) and Perfect Murder, Perfect Town: JonBenét and the City of Boulder (2000).
Marg received a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on January 23, 2012. She starred in CSI: Vegas, A Dog's Journey, Behind Enemy Lines, and Under the Dome. She has appeared on The Price Is Right, Live with Kelly and Ryan, CBS News Sunday Morning, and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.
