Maria-Elena Laas Bio

Maria-Elena Laas is a Puerto Rican-American actress who was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, on November 28, 1983. Her first on-screen role was as Marisa Rios in the crime drama television series Pacific Blue's episode "Silicone Valley of the Dolls." She played Svetlana in the sitcom Grounded for Life in 2002. The comedy The Hot Chick and the independent movies Suffering Man's Charity, Airplane Disasters, Lunatics, Lovers and Poets, and Kill the Habit are among Laas's filmography credits. Laas was cast as Cruz in the drama television series Vida in 2018. The Mexican American community in Los Angeles serves as the series' central theme. She starred as Rosalita Vega in the action drama Warrior on Cinemax in 2020. Rosalita Vega appeared in 5 episodes of Warrior's second season.
