Maria Shriver Bio
Maria Shriver, born Maria Owings Shriver on November the 6th 1955 in Illinois and is an American author, journalist and producer. Well known for being a member of the Kennedy family and former First Lady of California during her marriage to California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. A successful journalist, Shriver has a Peabody Award and has earned two Emmy Awards amongst other accolades for her work thus far.
Currently a special anchor and correspondent for NBC News, Shriver has also released seven books to critical acclaim and has anchored for Weekend Today, NBC News, The CBS Morning News, Dateline NBC, and is considered to be one of the best known female journalists in America. Known for her no-nonsense manner in delivering news, she has enjoyed a long and successful career thus far.
