Mariana Atencio Bio
Mariana Atencio is a Best Selling Author & Award-Winning Journalist, renowned for her viral TEDxtalk "What Makes You Special?". She is also known for her book, Perfectly You: Embracing the Power of Being Real.
Following her successful career as a Latina correspondent on MSNBC and NBC News, Mariana quickly became one of the most sought-after virtual speakers and secured global events, keynotes and partnerships with Microsoft, the World Health Organization and the United Nations among others.
Mariana has appeared on The Today Show; Good Morning America; The Daily Show; The Colbert Report and was featured on the award-winning HBO series "Habla Now" as one of the leaders defining the Latin Experience in America. Her work has also been honored with a Peabody, a Columbia University's "First Decade Award" and the National Association of Hispanic Journalists Presidential Award.
In 2018, Mariana co-founded GoLike, a production company that has secured successful deals with Wells Fargo, McDonald's, and the U.S. Census Bureau. It has also been named among Hello Magazine's 100 most powerful Latina businesses.
