MARINA Bio
Marina and the Diamonds is a solo project for the singer and songwriter Marina Diamandis, Born in Brynmawr Monmouthshire, Wales, United Kingdom. Her first album was titled the The Family Jewels and was put out in 2010. Her first hit single was ‘Obsessions’ on indie label Neon Gold. Her album The Family Jewels hit number 5 in the UK. Her second full-length album Electra Heart contained the singles ‘Primadonna’ and ‘Radioactive’ and topped the charts in the UK also landed in the top 40 in the U.S. Her third album in 2015 Froot, had a different style from her previous two albums and she wrote all of the songs herself, producing the album with David Kosten.
