Mario Biondi, (born Mario Ranno January 28, 1971, in Catania, Italy), is an Italian Singer. Biondi's early life was steeped in music, singing in small choirs and developing a passion for soul music, influenced by artists like Lou Rawls, Al Jarreau, and Isaac Hayes. His career progressed as he toured with notable Italian artists like Franco Califano and Peppino Di Capri.
His breakthrough came with the 2006 album "Handful of Soul" under Schema Records, which showcased his deep, warm voice reminiscent of classic soul and rhythm and blues. Following albums included "I Love You More LIVE" in 2007, "Yes You (Live)" in 2010, and a double CD "Due" in 2011. He continued to release albums such as "SUN" and "Mario Christmas" in 2013, "Beyond" in 2015, featuring songs like "Love is a temple".
Throughout his professional career, he has been affiliated with the record label Schema Records. He produced disco music prior to his solo career taking off. He has gone on tour with fellow performer Rosario Fiorello.
