Mark McKinney Bio

Mark McKinney is an American country music singer and songwriter born in Texas, United States. He is known for blending foot-stomping, energetic rock influences with traditional country music. He first started out with a group McKinney Brothers that he formed with his brother Eric McKinney. Later on, they formed Cosmic Cowboys together with their friend Rob Dennis. The trio, however, didn’t attract substantial attention. After writing for Kevin Fowler, Mark had a small breakthrough with the release of his single “The MySpace Song which was also featured on Howard Stern‘s radio show. The song earned him widespread recognition and the Cosmic Cowboys started touring across the country. His albums Get it On” and Middle America” received excellent reviews. With an honest and authentic approach Mark continues to make a name for himself on the country landscape.
