Mark Duane Morton, known as Mark Morton, is an accomplished American guitarist, musical artist, and projects manager. He was born in the United States on November 25, 1972.
Mark began his music career in 1989 and gained fame in 1994 when he joined the heavy metal band Lamb of God, where he has been a core member ever since. The band, which also features Randy Blythe, John Campbell, and Willie Adler, has released numerous albums, including New American Gospel, Omens, and Ashes of the Wake, which produced hit singles such as Laid to Rest, Redneck, Memento Mori, and Walk with Me in Hell.
Apart from his work with Lamb of God, Morton has also been active as a solo artist, releasing the album Anesthetic, which includes popular singles such as Cross Off, Sworn Apart, The Truth Is Dead, and Save Defiance.
