Marsai Martin Bio

Marsai Martin is an American actress and producer. She was born Calia Marsai Martin on the 14th of August, 2004, in Little Elm, Texas, U.S. At five years old, she landed her first job in a commercial. In 2014, she was cast in her breakthrough role on the ABC’s comedy series “Black-ish” alongside Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross. She has received many awards and nominations, including a Young Artist Award and three NAACP Image Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. In 2016, when she was 13, Martin debuted in the big screen, starring in the comedy “Little” for which she was also the executive producer, making her the youngest ever Hollywood producer. Her performance earned her several awards including the 2020 NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture.
