Martha Plimpton is an award-winning American actress best known for her work in film and television. She was born in New York City, New York, United States, on November 16, 1970.
Martha began her acting career in 1981 when she was cast in the film Rollover, but she became famous in 1985 when she starred in the adventure-comedy film The Goonies alongside Sean Astin, Josh Brolin, Jeff Cohen, and Corey Feldman. She has since had recurring roles in the TV series A Town Called Malice, Sprung, Generation, Brockmire, Minecraft: Story Mode, Younger, The Real O'Neals, and Raising Hope, and her filmography includes Frozen II, Parenthood, The Mosquito Coast, Beautiful Girls, 200 Cigarettes, and Stanley & Iris.
