Martha Walsh is an American singer and musician who was born on December 28th 1953 in San Francisco, California, United States. She was born and raised in San Francisco, California.
Martha Wash rose to fame as a singer/songwriter after she was named The Queen of Clubland following her six #1 hit dance songs on the Billboard Music Charts. Some of the six songs were Everybody Everybody and Gonna Make You Sweat. She was also famous as one-half the female duo The Weather Girls who dropped the multi-platinum single It’s Raining Men in 1982. Martha also appeared on GSN’s I’ve Got A Secret in 2006.
