Martin John Brundle (born June 1, 1959 in King's Lynn, Norfolk, England, UK) is a retired Formula One racing driver who participated in F1 from 1984 until 1996.
During his career, Brundle raced for Tyrrell (1984-86), Zakspeed (1987), Williams (1988), Brabham (1989 & 1991), Benetton (1992), Ligier (1993 & 1995), McLaren (1994), and Jordan (1996). Following a successful retirement, Brundle became a well known commentator for British television. He worked with ITV-F1 from 1997 until 2008, BBC Sport F1 from 2009 until 2011. In 2009, Brundle co-commentated for the BBC's Formula One coverage, later becoming the lead commentator alongside his friend David Coulthard for the 2011 season. In 2012, he joined Sky Sports F1.
As a commentator, Brundle has received several awards including the RTS Television Sports Award for best Sports Pundit four times: in 1998, 1999, 2005, and 2006.
