Martin Solveig is a French DJ, songwriter and record producer. He was born Martin Laurent Picandet on the 22nd of September, 1976, in Paris, France. Solveig has a previous classical music training, as he became a soprano before turning to electronic music. At age eighteen, he started performing as a DJ in Parisian trendy nightclubs, like Les Bains Douche. In 2002, he released his studio album titled “Sur La Terre”, which included singles like “Madan” and “I’m A Good Man”. In 2005, Solveig released his second album “Hedonist” which reached number 43 at the French Albums Chart. He followed three years later by releasing his third album “C’est La Vie” which featured Hay Sebag and Lee Fields, among many other artists. In 2011, he released his fourth album “Smash”, which included the hit single “Hello”.
