Masi Oka is an actor born on 27th December 1974 in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. He is best known for playing Hiro Nakamura in the superhero drama TV series “Heroes”, for which he was nominated for several awards. Oka began his career in 2001, playing the role of Nien-Jin in the television sitcom “Dharma & Greg”. That same year, he appeared in the series “Citizen Baines” and “Gilmore Girls”.
Oka also appeared alongside Alex O’Loughlin, Scott Caan, and Daniel Dae Kim in the famous action police procedural TV series “Hawaii Five-0” from 2010 to 2017 and then in 2019. Oka made his film debut in 2002, playing the role of a Japanese Pedestrian in the spy comedy film “Austin Powers in Goldmember”. In 2010, he appeared in the Andrew Disney-directed film “Searching for Sonny” opposite Jason Dohring. Oka also voiced Koji in the racing game “Cars: Mater–National Championship” in 2007.
