Mathew and Savanna Shaw Bio
Father-daughter musical duo, Mathew and Savanna Shaw hail from Utah. During the Covid-19 pandemic, they began to post their videos on YouTube. These videos which featured acoustic duets of songs with a religious theme began to go viral, making them one of the many quarantine-era YouTube stars. Their first video featured the song, ‘The Prayer’ which became popular on platforms like Facebook and Instagram as well. The videos were also picked up by mainstream media and the duo was interviewed on ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’, ‘Good Morning America’ and a Japanese show as well. Following their success on social media, they released their first album, ‘Picture’ in October 2020 which featured 13 songs. It ranked at the top spot on Billboard's Emerging Artists list and on the 54th Spot on Billboard 200.
