Mats Hummels Bio
Mats Julian Hummels is a German professional footballer born December 16, 1988, in Bergisch Gladbach, Germany. At a young age, he joined Bayern Munich’s youth academy (1995-2006). He is currently in FC Borussia Dortmund(2019) as centre-back(defender).
He won the European U21 Champion(2009) with Germany U21 and the World Cup with Germany (2014). He won the DFB-Pokal ( 2011/12 and 2020/21) and Liga pokal (2006 and 2007) while playing for Borussia Dortmund and with FC Bayern München in 2018/19. He claimed the Supercup with FC Bayern München in 2016, 2017 and 2018 and Borussia Dortmund in 2013.
His journey began when he was moved to FC Bayern Munich U17 from the academy (2003) to U19(2005). He was finally transferred from Bayern Munich to Borussia Dortmund (2019).
