Matthew Montgomery Barkley, known as Matt Barkley, is an esteemed American professional football player renowned for his talent as a quarterback in the National Football League (NFL). He was born in Newport Beach, California, United States, on September 8, 1990.
Barkley showcased his skills during his formative years at Mater Dei High School and later at the University of Southern California. During his college career, Barkley achieved notable success, including winning the prestigious 2012 Wuerffel Trophy, which recognizes outstanding community service, and being named to the 2011 Second-team All-Pac-12.
