Matt Berry is an English actor, musician, and writer, born in Bromham, England on May 2, 1974. He is best known for his roles on the television series The Mighty Boosh and The IT Crowd. His career in acting started in 1998 on a video game magazine show called Game Over. His debut in television was in 2004 on the show Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace. He continued to land roles in television series like, The Mighty Boosh, Snuff Box, The IT Crowd, Shooting Stars, House of Fools, Major Lazer, Harvey Beaks, and many more. In 2007 he made his debut in film in the movie The Devil’s Chair. His other movie credits include, A Bit of Tom Jones?, The Wedding Video, Svengali, Christopher Robin, among others. As a musician he has released a number of albums including, Jackpot, Opium, Witchazel, Kill the Wolf, Music for Insomniacs, The Small Hours, Night Terrors, and Television Themes. His first two albums he released on his own, but signed with Acid Jazz Records to release his later albums.
