Matthew Bomer is an American actor born on October 11, 1977 in Missouri, USA, as Matthew Staton Bomer and further raised in Spring, Texas. He graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and then moved to New York to pursue a career in acting. There he was successful with his work in the theater and had his television debut with a small role as Ian Kipling, in All My Children, ABC television series in 1970. This led to a recurring role in “Guiding Light” as the killer Ben Reade. He continued to succeed on television with roles such as in 2003's “Tru Calling”, 2007's “Chuck” and the lead role in “Traveler” in 2007. Bomer also made a film career with tapes such as “Flightplan” in 2005. and “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning” in 2006. On October 23, 2009, “White Collar,” a FOX crime drama series, premiered, where Bomer plays the lead role of criminal Neal Caffrey. In 2020, Bomer began starring in the series “The Sinner”.
